Bingo for Books

 In Blog, Events

The programs and resources at NW Doc have been made possible over the years by dedicated volunteers, members, and alumni. The Library @ NW Doc is a key example of how one person’s passion can make a huge difference. Library Coordinator Carson Mischel started the Library in 2010, and with community support has expanded it to more than 200 documentary DVDs, free to students & members! We still have empty shelves to fill, though, so join us for a night of bingo on 5/29 at Migration Brewing to raise funds for the Library.

A Note from Carson:
“We had always had a very small collection of films & books for students but knew there was potential for a better resource center. We envisioned a collection that ranged from essential classics to no-budget shorts. Today our library is used by hundreds of students a year & we’re proud of what we have built. We do, however, still have further to go. The money raised at this event will help take our library to the next level by expanding book and DVD collections and enhancing usability.”
