Wordstock is an annual festival of books, writers, and storytelling in Portland. We’re excited that Wordstock is acknowledging the new role of technology and digital storytelling in the literary arts by inviting NW Documentary to be part of the festival. We’ll be at the convention center this weekend hosting free multi-media events. Stop by and check it out!
NW Documentary’s Photo Booth/Audio Booth
October 11, 2009 from 12 – 4 pm
Wordstock 2009 at the Oregon Convention Center in Room A102
The classic photobooth captures a spontaneous moment – a slice of life, an instant memory, and a story to share. NW Documentary invites you to share your story and preserve the moment at our story and photo booth during the 2009 Wordstock Book Fair.
The folks from NW Doc will set up a photobooth and audio booth to encourage storytelling and conversation between people from 12 – 4 pm on Sunday, October 11. Stop by with a friend or family member, sit down in the photobooth, and then step inside the audio booth to record a personal story, a family memory, a summer adventure—or be interviewed by one of our experienced documentarians.
NW Documentary will digitally record the session and add it to their storytelling archive. You’ll leave with your very own photo strip and a new fun memory! Can’t make it Sunday from 12 – 4 pm? Stop by Saturday (12 – 4 pm) to check out the other exciting things going on at the NW Documentary Storytelling Booth.
NW Documentary thanks Christy and James Vance, owners of “The Original Photo Booth,” for helping make this event a success, and Wordstock for hosting us.
