NW Documentary is now registering for Spring Classes. In addition to our core DIY Workshop program which features DIY Documentary, Editing 101 (Final Cut and Premiere) and Camera & Lighting, NW Documentary is excited to add two classes on new and emerging topics in independent film.
Our Mobile Filmmaking: Tools that Fit in your Pocket class will explore best practices for filmmaking on your smart phone, including the accessories, techniques and editing apps that downsize your video production to the size of a deck of cards. Veteran NW Doc instructor Seth Bloombaum will be leading the class.
Our Experimental Documentary: Non-fiction Revisited class will view excerpts from recently released documentaries that borrow from narrative and experimental film techniques; expanding and challenging our definition of the non-fiction form. This class will be led by Eastern Oregon Film Festival curator Ian Clark, with a guest lecture from local documentarian Cambria Matlow.
As always, our alumni students get 15% off by using the code ALUM at check-out.
