NW Documentary offers membership to anyone with a story to tell.
Membership gives you access to our editing lab, equipment rental, and micro-cinema.
Membership to NW Documentary is free, but we expect all members to respect our community and space. Documentary filmmaking is hard work, and having a supportive community and welcoming space is critical to making the work easier. We welcome everyone, and champion the diversity of our community and the stories we tell.
We will not tolerate hate, bigotry, or meanness. Your membership can be rescinded if we find that you are disrespectful of the space, the equipment, or of other community members.
By becoming a member you agree to help us create a supportive, productive, and welcoming community space!
We are a small non-profit with a mission to make the tools and skills of documentary filmmaking available to everyone. We rely on support from our community to continue operating, and we ask that you consider donating to NW Documentary to help support the work we do and the resources we offer.
There are many ways to be involved at NW Documentary: sign up for workshops, attend screenings, volunteer, or find a seat on one of our councils. And of course, work on your projects: that’s the most exciting thing you can bring to NW Documentary!
Our mission is to support your work, and we are excited to get to know you.
