Director James Culingham and Executive Producer Doug Whyte will discuss their documentary, In Search of Blind Joe Death: The Saga of John Fahey, at NW Documentary on Saturday, 10/20. Cullingham and Whyte will discuss biographical and engaged/political documentary filmmaking.
In Search of Blind Joe Death is about the tremendously influential composer, guitarist, author and provocateur John Fahey (1939-2001). The film combines live action and archival footage with animation in a kinetic, musically charged tribute to a great artist. Find out more at johnfaheyfilm.com.
