Alison Grayson is one of those lucky people who knew her calling at an early age. She fell in love with film and video production in high school, and then went on to get her BS in Video Production from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Her first job out of college, conducting man on the street interviews for a NBC website, confirmed her love of unscripted production, multitasking on the job, and meeting new people through production.
Life brought Alison to Portland, OR, where she has made a career of freelancing throughout the Pacific NW and on international productions. Focusing in location sound, Alison’s specialty is working on documentary/non-fiction productions. She is also a filmmaker, having recently produced her first feature documentary, The Love of Beer. Alison’s past experience includes camera operations, gaffing/grip, producing, directing, production assistance, and editing.
